NEW!! MDS Assessments being created with wrong submission status.
Problem Identified 4/11/2024
New MDS assessments defaulting to: Do not submit for assessments that should be submitted. PCC is aware of the issue and is investigating the cause.

Assessments that have been signed and locked that were not submitted will show up as a status of "Completed" instead of "Accepted"

Workaround:
Check all new MDS books created to make sure they have the correct submission status.
If they do not and require submission you can click on the hyperlink labeled "DO not Submit to CMS" within the MDS assessment data entry screen within the Submission Information that shows the MDS Status, The answer to A0410, and the Submit Req status.

A new window will pop up and show the following question:
"Should this assessment be flagged as available for submission to the Federal MDS database when the MDS is locked?"

Change the answer from No to Yes
